feed back 2Yesterday A. Kasteyev State Museum of Arts had a regular musical vernissage with famous Almaty’s saxophone player Yaroslav Friedman. Musical vernissage was held in the wonderful hall – the hall of Kazakh Decorative & Applied Art. The art works of this hall are extremely interesting, and the roof of the hall is a tall huge pyramid, so it was so pleasant to be in this hall.

Museum’s PR & Foreign Relations Specialist, curator feed back 1of the project Clara Isabaeva has opened the vernissage with the short interesting story about exhibited in this hall different types of rugs, handmade woven art works and beautiful national jewelry decorations. She also provided the short greetings to foreign guests in English, because we had overseas visitors from U.S., Lithuania and Korea.

I would like to express a huge thanks to the musical vernissage organizers, and especially to inexhaustible Clara Isabaeva for this concert that was conducted in summer, joyful atmosphere disposed to the rest and without long teaching stories and arguments.

feed back 4Despite his youth, Yaroslav is, absolutely, famous and popular personality in the city. He has a big entertainment experience. Beside his wonderful saxophone play, he was dealing perfectly with emceeing the concert, and speaks perfectly and treated the audience with great respect and attention. Yaroslav performed world famous jazz compositions, popular music, famous movies music, including Frank Sinatra’s and Lewis Armstrong’s hits. He also introduced his little student, performing together popular Hit the road, Jake by Ray Charles. His sister also performed few compositions with Yaroslav on violin. I really believe that the evening had a great success. The summer mood was wonderful. Once again thanks to the Museum and musician for great musical vernissage.

More – musical vernissage public is really great as well. Nowhere else you can meet so cheerful people with inspired faces and opened smiles.
