Kasteyev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan the opening of the exhibition titled “Thank You” will take place with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and with the assistance of the Ukrainian cultural center "T. Shevchenko Enlightenment Success”. The exhibition will display the works of the famous artist of Kazakhstan Irina Yarema - a member of the Artist’s Union of the USSR since 1970. The exhibition displays more than 40 works, including tapestries, scenic paintings, graphic drawings, and etudes, created during various periods of her work.

mergenov 1 February 14, 2020 at 16:00 the opening of the exhibit of Erkin Mergenov’s sculptures “Retrospect” will be held at the A. Kasteyev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The exhibition was prepared for the 80 year jubilee of the national artist, professor, Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of the first independent award of Kazakhstan “Platinum Tarlan” Erkin Mergenov (1940-2015).
Erkin Tlekovich’s sculptures are a significant phenomenon in the art of Kazakhstan and generally in international artistic practice, well known to connaisseurs and lovers of sculpture throughout the Post-Soviet space and in many countries in the world. His personal exhibitions were held in Riga (Latvia), Kiev (Ukraine), Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), Moscow and Saint Petersburg (Russia), Almaty and Nursultan (Kazakhstan).

January 26, 2020, on the 26 januaryeve of the anniversary of the removal of the blockade in Leningrad, in the A. Kasteev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan held an event in honor of the 75 year anniversary of victory in World War 2. The museum did so in support of the Russian Consulate General’s initiative dedicated to the Year of Remembrance and Glory of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory in Russia. In her presentation, Consul Irina Pereverzeva underlined that each person, each family, each city had its own war, and every citizen of our common Motherland brought victory closer. The solemn ceremony took place in the exhibition of the Petersburg artist-graphist Klim Lee.

On February 6, 2020 at the A. Kasteev State Museum of Arts of the crystal garden 01Republic of Kazakhstan, the unique exhibition of the Czech art glass “Crystal Garden” by Jiri Pacinek with the participation of the famous master will open to the public at 10:00am. The exhibition was organized by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Nur-Sultan together with the A. Kasteev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The exhibition is an example of the masterful work of the traditional Czech school of glass work. 

khakimov 1 On January 17, 2020 at 17:00, the exhibit of works by Alexander Khakimov “The Evolution of Beauty” will open at the A. Kasteyev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This is the first solo exhibition of this artist and will show approximately fifty paintings and graphics. Alexander Gennadevich Khakimov was born in 1958 in the Zhambulskiy oblast in Kazakhstan and went on to graduate from art school in Vladivostok, Russia. The author focuses his work on the spiritual improvement of man, his watercolor works characterized by lightness and, at the same time, richness of color. Many of his works focus on India, revealing to the viewer the Vedic world, amazing in depth and significance, with great images of teachers, shrines and temples.
